Sr Devops Engineer - Hyderabad / Secunderabad @ ServiceNow

Role

The successful candidate will work with our internal development and CS teams to deliver a world class support experience using Case management. Person will also be responsible for code movement on HI instance , ServiceNow upgrades and necessary configurations to meet business objectives. He/She will be closely working with other teams on cross integration projects.

What you get to do in this role:

• Provid e support to ServiceNow HI Users.

• P rioritiz e and resolve cases and escalations in queue with little or no supervision.

• Code movement through dev stack and deployment on HI.

• Upgrade HI instances to latest family releases and implement new product features.

• Monitor HI availability and performance.

• Engaging with the cross functional teams like operations and engineering to build and maintain various integrations .

• Develop on the best cloud software for businesses using ServiceNow platform.

• Work closely with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and deliver high quality product s to our users.

• Collaborate day- to- day with an energetic team of like- minded developers , product owners and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.

In order to be successful in this role , we need someone who has:

• Engineering or masters degree in computer science or equivalent .

• 6+ years working in a comparable software development company. Good experience with the ServiceNow platform (Client Scripts , UI Policies/Actions /Pages/Scripts/Macros) .

• Good understanding of ITSM coupled with experience of working within ITIL environment.

• Experience working with JavaScript libraries .

• Good knowledge of AJAX , JSON , XML , SOAP , REST and associated frameworks.

• Exceptional debugging , testing , and problem solving skills.

• Strong troubleshooting/root cause isolation skills .

• Must be proficient with analysing log files and standard debugging concept s .

• Strong written and verbal communication.
