Job Description
You will help define testing strategies to ensure smooth functioning and our brand is up to industry standards. You will create testing plans, including individual testing phases, and ensure the team meets the deadlines set forth in those plans.
Nature and Scope of the Role:
You will act on your capability to analyze and implement new tools for improvement of the automation process
You will act on your ability to troubleshoot and problem solve test scripts and overcome critical hurdles during automation
You will prepare the workload model/ review of the prepared model to provide suggestions
You will review test scripts, debugging and review of test execution results
You will help in conducting of defect triage meetings, presentation of reports to management and business teams
You will act on your ability to efficiently allocate resources, extract work and manage the overall productivity of the QA team. Ability to serve as a single point of contact for all QA related queries
You will act on your ability to manage critical time-bound nature of projects in terms of QA delivery
You will mentor and motivate resources, validation, and appraisal of work done
You will oversee all aspects of quality assurance including the establishment of metrics, maintenance of standard process, development/implementation of new best practices to achieve continuous growth and improvement of the in-house QA process.
You will help in establishing test strategy, preparation of detailed test plans, reviewing of test cases, analysis and identification of requirement gaps, sign off on test cases and UAT procedures
Primary Skillset:
You have strong knowledge in Web functional automation, Mobile App automation using Appium or other tools, API automation and Performance testing aspects of testing
You possess an understanding of application architecture, business model and testing scope
You possess experience in identifying testable elements of an application be it web/mobile functional automation or performance testing
You have strong experience in estimation for functional/API and Performance automation
You have strong experience in establishing test automation framework ? build the framework from scratch and redesign of the existing framework to aid timely quality assurance deliverables
You have a strong working knowledge about automation essentials such as ? Selenium, TestNg, reporting frameworks, maven, CI/CD integration- Jenkins, git, etc
You possess experience in Performance/Load testing concepts, the establishment of load testing strategy, provide recommendations regarding new tools to monitor performance, provide recommendations to developers regarding code modifications to improve performance
You possess knowledge about jMeter and creation of automation scripts for API/performance tests using ? parametrization, correlation, reusable functions, various jMeter plugins, etc
You have people management and QA project management skills
You also possess strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with project managers, delivery heads and clients teams
You have strong experience in test estimation, progress monitoring, process adherence monitoring, the raising of red flags, status reporting to managers, clients, etc.
You are a strong leader with great presentation skills
