What you ll do As a senior DevOps engineer , you will help improve our infrastructure and develop scalable and secure enterprise technology solutions. You will assist the team by ensuring that our infrastructure is expertly designed , implemented , and ready for use by developers. You will mentor and work with other junior DevOps engineers in the team. Also , you will be working in a global team set up. We are looking for individuals who have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills , as well as familiarity with networking and fluent in coding or scripting. You should join us , if you have excellent communication skills , love technologies , are a fan of math and automation because why trust humans when robots can do such a better job Responsibilities Enables the Development team to build and deploy our application from code to production and internal environments using our infrastructure. Involved in architecting , creating , and delivering redundant , scalable and secure enterprise technology solutions. Maintains systems and looks for opportunities to streamline processes. Standardizes , automates and documents setup of development and production environments. Own and drive improvements to our build and release scripts , tools , and processes. Collaborate with peers on work estimation/ planning and implementation of new versions/ features of tools. Maintains system administration. Builds tools for internal use to support software engineering best practices. Requirements: Strong background and experience with Linux/ Unix administration , command line , and scripting Good experience with container based deployments , Kubernetes Docker Working experience with source control solutions like git Working understanding of CI tools (like Jenkins , CircleCI , Teamcity , etc) Experience with orchestration of infrastructure and software deployments using Terraform , SaltStack , Puppet , Chef or Ansible Working understanding of Python , bash and java programming. Proficiency and knowledge of networking , security , routing and firewalls Knowledge/ experience in a 24/ 7 always- up , always available service Desirable Requirements: Some hands on experience with building and running cloud- based solutions for Amazon Web Services , Google Cloud Platform , or Microsoft Azure will be a bonus.
