We are hiring for Sr. Big Data Engineers. If you are looking for new opportunity at this point of your career, kindly go through the below details:
Required technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies/suites like Cloudera 5.x/6.x, Spark 2.x, Hive, Impala, Sqoop, HDFS, YARN, Hue, Sentry, ACL, Kafka, Cloudera Manager/Navigator, Zookeeper etc.
- Strong knowledge on architecting and developing Big data related applications and frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience in programing Languages like Scala, Java.
- Strong experience in the development of service oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
- Knowledge of SQL, UNIX, Perl, Shell scripting.
- Knowledge on big transformation projects from non-hadoop to Hadoop platform.
- Knowledge in automating Big Data processes and developing lean Big Data pipelines.
- Knowledge in Git, Jenkins, DevOps(CI/CD pipelines) etc.
- Source code dependency management and automation with at least one of the following: Ant, Gradle or other similar tools/frameworks.
- A very strong communicator with the ability to interface directly with clients and analysts to ensure technical requirements and delivery align with expectations
- A strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and ability to deliver solutions under this methodology
- Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical designs that work well within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions
- Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Can work independently effectively
