Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- End to end implementation of tools, processes and technologies to increase Zycus DevOps maturity.
- Analyze and identify opportunities and gaps in the Zycus platform to increase application reliability.
- Build deployment and configuration automation for Zycus production infrastructure.
- Build frameworks for monitoring and troubleshooting Zycus production issues.
- Solid experience with AWS APIs.
- Experience with automation tools like Hashicorp packer, Terraform and Nomad.
- Experience with Docker, Docker-Swarm and Kubernetes.
- Programming experience in Python and Ansible.
- Knowledge about Java and NodeJS runtime.
- Experience managing and maintaining load balancers, proxies, webservers, Queues, Caches etc.
- Knowledge of CICD stack for Java with tools to implement code build (mvn, ant, groovy), static code analysis, release management workflow (Jenkins, GOCD), SCM (GIT), etc.
- Ability to develop High-Level Design interaction diagrams, system functionality changes, data model, data flow, high-level interface specifications
- A certificate in AWS SysOps Administration would be a plus.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Should have knowledge in Virtualization ( Vmware, ESXi, KVM )
- Should have knowledge in Network ( Switches, Router & Firewall )
- Candidate should have hands on experience in Production servers.
- Should have knowledge to handle Projects Independently.
- Ability to lead a team and follow SCRUM practices.
Good to have:
- 3-8 years of professional experience
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Architectures, Java and Database solutions
- ROI analysis in comparison of as-is vs. to-be state of environments, and processes
- Experience with Infrastructure security is a plus
