Desired Candidate Profile
Role Brief:The QA Automation Lead will be a part of the Quality Engineering Team and responsible for testing enhancements, routine updates and regression tests of the Guru.com platform. The candidate will interact with the business analysts, members of the development group and other members of the QA group in the testing process.
The Quality Engineering Team at Guru is responsible for testing of the Guru.com platform assisting the development and operation teams in ensuring proper functionality of the application prior to deployment to production and assistance in the upkeep of the system that operates round the clock. (24x7 for 365 days of the year).
Educational Qualification:
B.E./ B.Tech/ MBA/ M.C.A/ Any bachelors Degree.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the testing of Web applications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the automation testing using Selenium Webdriver
- Experience in Agile/ SCRUM process and continuous integration
- Experience with Test Management & Defect Tracking Tools
- Experience in the life cycle of bug resolutions, working with various teams
- Experience in cross-browser test platforms
- Experience in assessment and planning of test efforts for new functions and features
Responsibilities/ Essential Skills:
- Development of software test plans and test cases, and its execution
- Understand and follow compliance requirements with established testing procedures and methodologies
- High level of proficiency in analyzing requirements and impact analysis
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical and organizational ability
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet project goals within tight deadlines
- Must be a fast learner, self-motivated and results-oriented
- Good interpersonal, leadership and listening skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
