Work tightly with application development, architecture, infrastructure and engineering groups for performance testing and application analysis initiatives to define success criteria and evaluation methodologies.
Desired Profile:
Design and mentor in creating best-in-class performance testing approaches and plans for enterprise-wide projects
Assist project members with infrastructure and application performance monitoring and analysis
Evaluate overall system capacity during end-to-end load tests
Work tightly with application development, architecture, infrastructure and engineering groups for performance testing and application analysis initiatives to define success criteria and evaluation methodologies.
Work closely with the test management team to establish performance testing criteria
Provide insight into performance bottlenecks leveraging a variety of skills and tool sets on multiple platforms
Establish a strong presence as a change agent providing innovative, effective, and efficient Performance Management practices and solutions. Skills Required
Working knowledge of Cucumber or JBehave or JUnit or TestNG is big plus.
Extensive experience in developing web service clients and providers for RESTful and SOAP implementation
Desired experience in Mobile Automation or exposure to Mobile testing
Basic knowledge of SQL and/or any RDBMS
Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools is desirable
Strong knowledge of build/deployment automation and continuous integration is desirable.
Advanced understanding of source code repositories and branching and merging strategies.
Awareness to Software Development and Testing lifecycle
Strong communication and problem solving skills desired
Well versed with Internet technologies and infrastructure
Outstanding written and oral communication Skills
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
Can do attitude; yet challenges status quo
Inquisitive and ambitious
Works independently under minimal direction with strong work ethic
Technical Skill: Excellent knowledge of performance testing using JMeter, or other open source tools, Load-Runner or VSTS, programming skills with Ruby / Java, XML, Jersey (or any other RESTful framework), Axis or CXF, cucumber or JUnit or TestNG, Maven or ANT, HTML, JQuery, CSS, SVN, JIRA (or any defect tracking tool), QMetry (or any test management tool).
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG: M.Tech - Any Specialization, MCA - Computers
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
