Job Description:-

1. 3+ years of experience working as a technical writer in an IT Company.

2. Excellent English communication skills and technical understanding.

3. Ability to work with the engineering team (developers/ QA) to create customer- facing, user- facing technical documentation of various products.

4. Skill set to create online help pages for portals of various products; present to and solicit feedback from various engineering, development, and operations teams.

5. Ability to work closely with product teams to understand requirements for new products and suggest the best approach for technical communication.

6. Willingness to also work if required for the existing projects with the engineering, marketing, and operations teams or consultants to understand the existing documentation.

7. Experience in planning, creating, and maintaining training material.

8. Should have sound knowledge of MS Word and Adobe tools. Knowledge of Robohelp, MadCap Flare is a add on.

9. Demonstrable working experience in technical writing of software documentation.

10. Experience in creating online help for portals, FAQ, how- to and quick reference guides with inputs from the technical staff.
