Job Description
Hiring for the position of a PHP Developer in an IT company
Designation: Back-End Web Developer
Experience: 1 2 years
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the entire development lifecycle
- Develop functional and fast-responsive scripts and database structures
- Maintain websites
- Invent & elaborate mobile-based and web-based features
- Troubleshoot websites/web applications for bugs
- Fix bugs if necessary and improve usability
- Improve websites/web applications for maximum speed with optimized codes
- Troubleshoot UI and improve its performance accordingly
- Integrate UI elements with server-side ones
- Detect and fulfil front-end and back-end requirements
- Perform training and support activities
- Develop reusable code
- Collaborate with developers, designers, sys admins, and customers. Tailor web solutions to
- their needs and requirements with process flows
- Write comprehensive manuals, guides, and documents
- Compile prototype and quality mock-ups
- Make sure that high-quality graphic standards are met
- Be responsible for Hosting and Server Management
- Stay consistent with company brand and updated with new technologies
Key Skills:
- Technical skills:
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Experience with web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
- High experience with back-end programming languages like PHP, Java
- Proficient experience using advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as
- AngularJS, ReactJS
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as GIT
- Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.
- Sound knowledge of designing and integrating REST APIs
- At least 1year experience with CMS Framework
- Basic Cloud platform knowledge AWS
- Strong database schema skills, querying, joins, triggers and stored procedures
- Communication and listening skills:
Will need to interact with customers and understand what they require from the website/web application he/she is tasked with building. Therefore,
- Needs to have the ability to explain technical issues to people who have little IT knowledge and be attentive to what they want.
- Be a critical thinker with problem solving capability
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Interpersonal skills to be able to perform as a team player.
- Project management skills: Need to be able to juggle multiple projects each with their own
