M+W Group is seeking for a Design Manager for our Global Engineering Services Center at Hyderabad.Please find below detailsPosition: Design Manager
Location: M+W Group (Global Engineering Services Center), Hyderabad
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any Engineering Discipline / Master Degree in Engineering Management
Years of Experience: Above 12 Years
Experience Required:
Min 10 years of experience in Managing a Design team, Designing, Planning, Detailing & Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to help execution of projects.
Proven track record of successfully handling several large scale and Fast track projects within the given time frame. Deliver projects in both, BIM & CAD format.
Deft in swiftly ramping up projects with sound engineering & aesthetics, competent cross-functional skills and ensuring on-time deliverables.
An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop Design Management standards, Tools and Templates for M+W India. Implementation of these standards on all design projects.
Conducting regular training sessions & audits to ensure implementation of these Design Management standards, tools and templates.
To ensure effective communication between all client stakeholders. Being at the front end of client interface
To lead and manage the strategic development of all design and technical functions
To make recommendations on design and technical issues to the Client
Ensuring design quality and that design directives are followed
Attending, hosting or coordinating internal and client meetings
Manage quality and consistency of design outcomes across and within different design disciplines (Architecture, Civil / Structure, HVAC, Process Supply systems, Water systems, Fire protection, Plumbing, Electrical and ELV)
To manage a range of human resources, both internal and external
Delegating and Reviewing team assignments
Guiding and motivating fellow employees
To encourage and promote the continuous improvement of working methods.
