Manager - Process Quality Product Development @ Danfoss

Desired Candidate Profile

Danfoss is a leading manufacturer of electronic controllers in Refrigeration and control segment. An EC&S RD&E facility is expanding in Oragadam covering the areas of software applications, firmware, electronic hardware, mechanical and validation so as to facilitate end to end electronic product development. The product and projects portfolio will be as per global requirements of the company.

The position requires a high caliber Produce Development Process Quality Manager to cover Embedded and Software product development process.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Be the Agile Coach for all the projects running in Agile Scrum or SAFe process
2. Transformation agent towards team and organization development
3. Bring in transparency on impediments and help remove them with all stakeholders
4. Mentor to improve design quality and quality of designs verification
5. Ensure the organization is compliant to standard models like ISO & IATF 16949
6. Initiates and drives continuous process improvement activities / programmes
7. Task
8. Continuously refine and improve development process towards project and organizational needs
9. Facilitating the agile team events (e.g. daily standup, planning workshops, sprint planning, reviews & retrospectives, Agile Release train planning, etc.)
10. Lead and conduct milestone design reviews and provide recommendation to management
11. Review deliverables for New Product Development (e.g. requirements, specifications, tests plans, test results, traceability, design reviews, reports, etc.)
12. Support correct use of Design Standard tools such as SFMEA, DFMEA, Qualification plan and Lesson learnt
13. Driving team building, good team spirit, team development along with Project and Engineering Managers

Education and Experience

1. BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in ECE or CS
2. Minimum 15+ years in Embedded and Software Products development
3. At least 3+ years of experience in leadership role and understanding of servant leadership principles
4. Certified Agile Scrum/SAFe Coach or equivalent
5. Experience in DevOps, TDD and related tools
6. Experience in ISO 9001:2015, IATF16949, CMMi
7. Hands on experience in Embedded (Hardware/Firmware) and Software (Enterprise/PC/Web/Mobile) Product development
8. Project Management Certification (PMP/Prince etc) and Six Sigma Black Belt would be an added advantage
