Job Description
Responsibilities:Experienced as cloud architect in similar role for 8+ years
Evaluated and worked on private, public and hybrid cloud environment
Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process with technical and commercial aspects
Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
Develop and organize cloud systems.
Good working knowledge of Azure, AWS and other private and public cloud
Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud policy.
Understand and implement cloud strategy with policy creation till implementation.
Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Good knowledge of operating system like Windows, Linux, Unix, Ubuntu etc.
Prior experience as an administrator or architect in any of the well-known operating systems is also helpful.
Familiar with Compute, storage, networking concepts
Good understanding of networking: TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, DNS. Is all this everyday lingo for you? Again, I suggest that you have some familiarity with these concepts before pursuing a role as a cloud architect.
Computer Programming Languages: You will need at least a minimal understanding of a programming or scripting language. This is probably not a must, but it will definitely help.
Security: Security in the cloud is important, and consequently, a high-level understanding of key security concepts is a must for a Cloud Architect. So, an initial knowledge of some basic security concepts such as firewalls is necessary.
Through understanding of cloud security with SOC2 report understanding
Working knowledge of MS office 365
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
8+ years' experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions.
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
