Job Title : CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT - AWS / AZURE
Job Summary :
- AWS / AZURE - Solution Architect will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and leading the end-to-end technical solutions for application cloud migration RFIs/ RFPs in a pre-sales role.
- Candidate should be able to understand the business requirement, analyze the technical requirement and craft end to end application cloud migration solution
- Candidate should have the hands on and in-depth understanding of end to end application cloud migration lifecycle
- Candidate should have the understanding of entire Cloud Migration Eco-System with respect to Applications & Infrastructure
- Preference to cloud certified candidates from reputed cloud service providers like AWS, IBM, GCP etc.
- Preference to the candidate with the knowledge of Container-as-a-Service and Enterprise Edition (EE)
- Preference to the candidate who possess the knowledge on application PaaS operations
- Around 10+ years of IT EXP with at least 4 years of hands on experience in Application cloud migration to AWS / AZURE environment
- Expertise in pre-sales lifecycle management (preparation of proposals (RFPs/RFIs), SOW, customer specific presentations)
- Should have hands on EXP in migrating large scale complex enterprise applications to AWS / AZURE is MUST.
- Understand the business requirement and identify the gaps to raise the questions, to build better comprehension of the overall ask
- Technical analysis to modernize/migrate application to AWS / AZURE cloud, define the target state of application for the relevant cloud environments ( IaaS, PaaS, SaaS; Private, Public, hybrid ), including business case
- Should evaluate different application technologies which can / cannot move to cloud and suggest recommendations / treatments
- Architect the application for AWS / AZURE platform by using AWS / AZURE services and resources and compare the different modernization options.
- Create and own methodologies, frameworks, templates etc. for application modernization / migration on AWS / AZURE and should be able to defend the solution & proposal response
- Craft integrated AWS / AZURE Cloud Solution and roadmap, with clear understanding of other phases of application cloud migration lifecycle like Testing, Integration, DevOps, taking relevant assumptions and highlighting the associated risks
- Establish the effort estimates for RFP/Proposal Solution
- Design operational processes to handle the exceptional application migration scenarios
- Should be able to build AWS / AZURE Application architecture and provide prescriptive guidance across network, storage, operating systems, virtualization, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, and in-memory caches
- EXP in collaborating closely with internal teams and stakeholders
