Description
The person will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, DevOps, and Technical Services in support of Apttus SaaS platform, production environments and customers. The primary focus and responsibility will pertain to support of Apttus Enterprise SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and IBM Cloud Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in supporting cloud operations that ensures >99.9% uptime, and an aptitude and ability to lead in-depth technology discussions. Having an experience in automated deployment and CI/CD is a plus.
Job Duties:
Design, build, test, deploy, administer, monitor and maintain 24x7 Cloud-based services.
Research and recommend procurement and use of various Cloud-based infrastructure, platform services and 3rd party tools and SaaS applications.
Be a part of 24/7 operational support team.
Perform issue investigation and resolution for internal and customer requests.
Coach new team members on proper use of various cloud-based services.
Review, evaluate, specify, design, maintain and document various system architectures, system configurations, availability monitoring & metrics, and system performances.
Deploy Apttus OMNI middle office (QTC, CLM, CPQ, etc.) application components.
Work directly with Cloud infrastructure providers, QA and Engineering organizations to trouble-shoot system issues and deliver timely resolutions to meet SLAs.
Automate various tasks and processes, improve & maintain site reliabilities.
Work on various projects in an accurate and timely fashion.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS or IBM cloud-based IaaS, PaaS or SaaS.
Expert level understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Virtual Machines, Websites, Storage Blobs, SQL Database, Virtual Network, Traffic Manager, Automation, Active Directory, CDN, Cache), Azure Site Recovery, Backups, Clustering, Load Balancing and Azure SQL, Virtual Networking, and Site to Site VPN.
Experienced working in a 24x7x365 IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications.
Ability to manage customer escalations and work under pressure.
Capabilities to operate in a flexible team environment with minimal supervision.
Azure Platform development and deployment concepts.
Experience with Active Directory, Security, OS Internals concepts.
Experience with system management tools such as SCOM.
Experience with Hyper-V configuration and administration Networking.
Strong Networking concepts including VIPs, NAT, DNS.
