Job Description

A Supply Planner focuses on the inventory levels needed to meet predicted consumer demands. Supply Planners use the forecasts for consumer demand that Demand Planners generate, so the roles are related and part of the overall supply chain planning process. Supply planning is the entire planning process which includes distribution, manufacturing, and procurement operations according to demand forecasts, considering capacity constraints and material availability. Supply planning: The first part of the process is managing the physical supply of goods or services.
