Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working on a shift basis covering the electrical operations requirements of a heavy engineering plant.
• Electrical maintenance of all motors and drives.
• Fault finding on electronic cards to component level.
• Electrical maintenance of overhead D.C. and A.C. cranes.
• Maintenance of PLC systems
• Use of programming tools to identify faults on PLC systems and changed parameters as required.
• Reacting to breakdown requirements and safely / quickly identifying faults to minimise the impact on production.
• On height work for installation, erection and commission of overhead Cranes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Previous Experience in department of Electrical will be preferred, (Minimum Experience Required: 1 - 5 Years)
• Comprehensive Industry Knowledge,
• Strong Customer-Facing Skills,
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication,
• Self-Motivated,
• Creative Problem-Solving,
• Knowledge of DOL Starter, Star Delta, Motor Connection 
• Degree/Diploma/ITI Electrical/Fitter/Welder
