Job description:

A Kubernetes Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Kubernetes infrastructure for a company. This includes deploying and scaling  Kubernetes clusters, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the infrastructure is secure and reliable. The Kubernetes Engineer will also work with development teams to ensure applications are deployed and scaled properly on the Kubernetes platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Kubernetes clusters

Deploy and scale applications on the Kubernetes platform

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Kubernetes infrastructure

Ensure security and reliability of the Kubernetes infrastructure

Work with development teams to ensure proper deployment and scaling of applications

Stay up-to-date with the latest Kubernetes developments and best practices

Qualifications:

CKA certified.

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration

Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)

Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting

Strong understanding of network and security concepts

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
