Head- Environment & Sustainability @ Yo Hr Consultancy

Job Description

• Develop sustainability strategies and action plans in coordination with the strategy, governance & site team and provide necessary guidance site team on implementation.
• Provide strategic vision & plan and be responsible for the implementation of various Sustainability aspirational targets (Carbon Neutrality, Water Positive etc)
• Overseeing environment Compliances, Reporting & Liaison with statutory bodies i.e. the State Pollution Control Board & the Regional Office, MoEF&CC
• Representations at MoEF&CC & liaison with the state pollution control board for obtaining environment clearance, consent and time to time renewal of the same as per requirement
• Responsible for improving the environmental compliance including implementation and management of various environmental and energy initiatives.
• Assisting the Corporate strategy & Governance team for Sustainability related disclosures (IR, BRSR, TCFD, CDP) Enterprise Risk Management aspects.
• Overseeing the Energy related compliance and improvement project and providing necessary guidance/ assistance to designated Energy Manager of the organization
• Oversee implementation & sustain Daily Management of Energy & Environment functions
• Facilitate implementation and sustenance of Energy & Environment related beyond compliance framework (GreenCO, Integrated Management System etc.)
• Working as resource person for the outreach programs for local community & school children for awareness development on sustainability & environment.
• Working as internal resource person for sustainability capability development.
• Collaboration with identified NGO, Institutions for sustainability projects.
• Should play pivotal role in internal & external stakeholder management on sustainability aspects
