Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shopify Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. Your expertise in Shopify development, front-end web technologies, and best practices will be instrumental in delivering high-quality and visually appealing online stores. Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand client requirements and translate them into functional Shopify websites.
- Develop custom Shopify themes and templates using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid template language.
- Customize and extend existing Shopify themes to meet client-specific requirements and design guidelines.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
- Integrate third-party applications, plugins, and APIs with Shopify to enhance website functionality and provide additional features.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of Shopify websites to ensure optimal performance, cross-browser compatibility, and responsiveness.
- Perform website maintenance tasks, including updating content, managing product inventory, and resolving any issues or bugs.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, Shopify updates, and best practices in e-commerce development to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements, optimization, and automation to enhance development efficiency.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development, working with Shopify themes, templates, and Liquid language.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
- Strong understanding of Shopify platform capabilities, APIs, and integrations with third-party applications.
- Experience with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and implementation techniques within the Shopify environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure the delivery of high-quality code and error-free websites.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- A portfolio of past Shopify projects or e-commerce websites is highly desirable.
