We are looking for IT Application Support Manager/Lead who can join us in short notice

EXP: 10+years

Location: Mumbai

N.P: Immediate to max 30days


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leading application support teams and developing people's technical and personal skills.
  • Manage Application Support team members who are directly reporting and manage the relationship with all internal and third-party service suppliers. Conduct & drive internal service improvement reviews.
  • Ensures implementation of support and maintenance processes. Oversees maintenance and support activities within Production environment to remedy and address performance issues.
  • Oversees measurement and reporting of incident and problem management and resolution within IT and Service Delivery. Update higher management on the Incident details.
  • Extend support for any specific requirement from stakeholders of the Bank to evaluate customization requirements, provide data & custom reports, reconciliation support, audit & compliance.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, applications, and network. Ensure day-to-day functionality of solutions in production.
  • Work closely with engineering/development teams to design, build, and maintain systems and help them decide on products to use, schema design, and query tuning.
  • Investigate root cause of the issues, inform, and educate developers about the cause and mitigate the root cause. Ensures actions are appropriately prioritized and assigned to Development teams to address problems identified, and ensure on-time resolution.
  • Plan and Execute Application Support activities and timely closure of VA, Config VA and PT findings and Servers Patching.
  • Audit Handling and timely closure of all open points for Internal, External and RBI audits.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the company; scope and create automation for manual tasks, deployment, management, and visibility of our services.
  • Accountable to ensure that processes and procedures for their area are aligned with best practices and technology standards, and optimally support the business.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, coupled with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and willingness to take ownership. Manage Roster and work schedule.
  • Ensure recruitment and Selection of Team members to fill all the openings in time with quality resources.
  • Problem solving mind-set and solution enabler.

Job Requirements:


Functional:

  • Candidate should have an In-depth knowledge on Corporate Banking/ Remittance/ Digital Channels/ Electronic Collection/ Swift experience in BFSI Domain.
  • Expertise on Payment Systems is an additional advantage.
  • Familiar with Financial Products like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, etc.
  • Proven Experience in delivering complex techno-functional requirements and tech support in MNC, Bank, NBFC, etc.
  • Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders across the hierarchy internally and externally.

Technical:

  • Database skills in MS SQL Server, Oracle. Experienced in the practical use of SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with query fine tuning, query plan reading, SQL profiler.
  • SQL job scheduler, Windows job scheduler, IIS web site creation, App pool creation.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows, Unix, Linux etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Shell scripting Windows, DOS Command, J scripts, Webservice and SQL Reporting service.
  • Candidate with knowledge on Cryptography, Security standards skill sets
  • Hands-on experience on Middleware technologies like IIS/WebSphere/Weblogic.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in shifts.
  • Candidate should have knowledge on ITIL processes to ensure issues / service requests are closed within the TAT.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and execute DR drills for business applications.
  • Candidates need to coordinate with multiple parties like DBA, Server team, Security team, network team, AV team, Application development team etc.
  • Hold a sound understanding of the application development lifecycle and how applications integrate across the IT Landscape.
  • Candidate should be able to monitor vendor performance.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology/System, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Candidate should have technical application support experience of 14+ years.
  • Candidate with ITIL certified would be preferred.
