One of our clients a (German Based) Engineering Consultancy company having their based office in Pune are looking for Structural Design Engineer for their Pune Office.

Designation: CSA - STRUCTURAL ENGINEER POSITION.

Work Location- Pune

Role- Permanent

Qualification Required BE , BTech in Civil & Structure

Years of Experience Required- 5-9 years

JOB description is as below:-

The candidate should be Graduate/ Postgraduate (Regular only ) in Civil or Structural Engineering with 5-9 years of experience in structural design and detail engineering in projects of oil & gas (onshore ) /petrochemical/ chemical. 

He/She should have capability to perform following activities 

• Preparation of Deliverable list & Schedule, Man-hour estimate, Resource Requirement and
• Progress report
• Providing input to Project Planning Engineer to prepare Project Schedule
• Coordination with other departments for structural input/output data and participation in project
• management meetings
• Participating design/ progress review meeting with client
• Co-ordination with Clients/ sub consultants /contractors
• Preparation of tender document /technical bid analysis /proposals
• Preparation of design basis, technical specifications, concept notes, calculation reports etc.
• Structural analysis and design of RCC/Steel industrial buildings such as pipe racks, process
• plants, pump sheds, ware house, equipment foundations etc.,  by using various engineering
• techniques and softwares like Staad Pro/ SAP etc .
• Infrastructure facilities for plants
• Standardization of design procedures
• Checking of General arrangement/ RCC details / Fabrication drawings
• Checking of design calculations
• Providing guidance to design engineers and draftsmen in group
• Review of geotechnical report

He/ She should be conversant with 

• Staad. Pro
• 3-D modeling work environment such as PDMS / PDS
• ISO certified company environment
• Relevant Industrial design codes such as IS/BS/American/Euro codes.
• He / She should be comfortable with short domestic/ international trips to site
