Responsibilities:
Designing and developing hardware components for embedded systems.
Conducting schematic design and PCB layout for digital and analog circuits.
Collaborating with the software team to ensure hardware and software compatibility.
Prototyping and testing hardware designs to validate functionality and performance.
Analysing and debugging hardware issues and providing timely resolutions.
Conducting design reviews and participating in cross-functional team meetings.
Coordinating with external vendors and suppliers for component sourcing.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Documenting hardware design, specifications, and test results.
Keeping up-to-date with emerging hardware technologies and trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design principles.
Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle).
Experience with microcontrollers, processors, and embedded systems.
Familiarity with hardware debugging tools and test equipment.
Knowledge of signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal management.
Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMC, safety).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Design for Manufacturing by collaborating with the manufacturing team
Hands on experience in selection of microcontrollers
Hands on experience in integration of microcontrollers / microprocessors with
Interfaces such as I2C, CAN, SPI, RS485, Ethernet etc., is required.
Experience: 3 + Years
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
