Job Description

• PURPOSE OF THE POSITION 
• Strong desire to plan and work towards COE or Structural domain at Plasser India, by continuously building  capability, design guideline, develop requisite design & development infrastructure to commensurate with the products being manufactured.

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY 
• 1 Passionate to lead and deliver results for Make in India vision of Plasser India, by leveraging your design domain knowledge and supplier base across India
• 2 Knowledgeable at creating large/heavy structures Design with good understanding of different manufacturing and assembly process
• 3 Responsible for product design quality, accuracy of engineering data including drawings, BOM, parts & service catalogue and all other formal engineering documentation
• 4 Embrace Engineering basic to perform required hand calculation on all type mechanical components,assemblies,provide input for Analysis and review results for analysis acceptance so as to have right first time design
• 5 Strong desire to partner with CFT for success of product delivery timeline on different Plasser machines. This involves close co-ordination with other engineering discipline like Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Powertrain and Controls
• 6 Accountable to analyse and resolve all technical issues related to product development, assembly/manufacturing non conformity by collaborating with other Engineering disciplines and cross functional team approach in effective and timely manner
• 7 Proficient to communicate technical information effectively and lead design reviews for approval from parent company
• 8. Translation of BOMs and drawings from German to English languages with strong Engineering fundamentals
• 9. You will contribute by successful identifying of potential projects, planning, continually learn and stay abreast of innovative technology
