Piping,GD&T,Routing Mechanical,GT Accessries,Compressors & components, GT Packages , centrifugal compressor
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Understand customer requirementsand design detailsfor a project and prepare2D cross section of machine on NXin line with our policies and standards.
Work closely with Calculation Engineers to understand the design details and finalize to have a standard machine to reduce cycle time.
Basic mechanical Knowledge and GD&T awareness, capability to perform hand calculations
Review the raw & machining drawings and release them in Team center PLM.
ReleaseEngineeringdocs in the VDR domain to customer and other stakeholders as per requirements
Work closely with counterpartsand leadership to provide necessary support&quality deliverables to Customer on the VDR domain.
Work on priority to meet the metrics of On time delivery / Quality / Productivity. Work closely with suppliers in advance to meet the metrics.
Develop automation abilities using digital tools and methods in order to produce faster and better outputs
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or College inMechanical Engineering
Added advantage : 3-8years of experience in being in requisition projects as design engineer inmechanical design orfew years of experience ason site in Oil & gas industry would be added advantage.
oWillingness to get trained on the domain with utmost focus, proactive approach and commitment.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
oTechnical background oncentrifugal compressors oriented toward the understanding of the P&I structure/base logic system, than related to the F2F detailed information. It shall be necessary in fact to have a clear understanding on the base structure of the scope of supply applicable to each product/train of products, but it is not necessary to be the best expert of a specificTMS product.
oCo-ordinate with global team , suppliers & internal stakeholders to finalize the design
oBring new improvements in process, design & Cycle time reduction to be compliant with quality & business requirement.
o Engineering effort knowledge to evaluate/manage out of std requirements (when needed)
o Proactive and Boundaryless approach some time it is necessary to scout information even beyond the Eng. World
Well committed to the target i.e. critical issue/workload pick to be managed in very short time, so that even willing to leave usual routine when needed
o Decision makerproactivity to grow.
