Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the ExactRx team to define, design, and implement new platform features. Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, contributing to both backend and frontend systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Optimize application performance and resolve bottlenecks to enhance user experience. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance the platform. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks (e.g., Django, Laravel). Full-stack development experience, with expertise in backend and frontend technologies. Proficiency in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular. Strong understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.). Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest. Proficient in version control systems like Git, using platforms like GitHub or GitLab. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Nice-to-Have Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI). Exposure to GraphQL or real-time communication tools (ActionCable, WebSockets). Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible). Background in building and scaling high-traffic applications.
