Job Title: Assistant Professor - Computer Application
Department: Computer Science and Engineering
Reports to: Head of Department
Location: Vadodara
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Assistant Professor to join our Computer Science and Engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching: Deliver course curriculum in classroom and/or online, ensuring student awareness of course objectives, approach, and evaluation techniques.
2. Curriculum Development: Participate in designing the curriculum (course outline or syllabus) for the concerned subject as per current trends and industry requirements.
3. Student Mentoring: Tutor, mentor, and provide academic counseling to students, evaluating student progress and assuming responsibility for overall assessment.
4. Research and Development: Conduct industrial research and development work, publishing research papers in journals, and driving tie-ups with top-notch companies for industry trainings and projects.
5. Examination and Administrative Duties: Participate in examination duties, such as paper setting, invigilation, and assessing answer sheets, and provide administrative assistance in tasks related to committee/s assigned.
6. Industry Interaction: Develop industry profiles, maintain constant interaction with industry experts, and strive to obtain grants for industrial research.
7. E-Learning: Develop e-learning delivery material, incorporating technology into the learning process, and assisting students in developing/designing projects and patents.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ph.D. (Computer Application) or MCA or M.Tech with specialization in Database Management, Software Engineering, Project Management, or Computer Network.
NET/SLET/GSET qualified (desirable).
Strong academic background and research experience.
