Job Description: We are seeking a skilled PHP & WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in PHP programming, WordPress CMS, and familiarity with best coding practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites from concept to completion. Write clean, well-designed, and efficient PHP code. Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements. Collaborate with designers and other developers to create high-quality websites. Troubleshoot and fix bugs or other coding issues. Optimize websites for speed and performance. Ensure high-performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, new plugins, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven work experience as a PHP Developer and WordPress Developer. Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Expertise in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins. Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, etc. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques. Knowledge of MySQL and database design principles. Experience with Git or other version control systems. Understanding of SEO best practices for web development. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and other popular WordPress plugins. Experience working with multisite WordPress installations. Knowledge of web hosting environments and domain management. Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Docker or CI/CD pipelines. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
