- We're Hiring: Senior WordPress Developer at TeMetaTech Job Description Job Title: Software Developer (upto 2 Years of Experience) Developer Location: Thiruvananthapuram Job type: Full-time Experience: upto 2 years Industry: Web Development / Digital Marketing We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior WordPress Developer with up to 2 years of experience in web development to join our dynamic team at TeMetaTech. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in WordPress plugin development, managing AEM/WordPress components, and providing technical support to digital marketing initiatives. The candidate will also contribute to project planning, execution, and ensuring the technical success of our digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain responsive websites, with a focus on user experience and performance. Design, develop, and customize WordPress plugins to meet business requirements. Manage and maintain AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and/or WordPress components, ensuring seamless content integration and optimal performance. Collaborate with marketing teams to support and implement digital marketing campaigns, optimizing website components for SEO, performance, and user engagement. Participate in project planning, contributing to technical discussions, timelines, and feasibility assessments. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the web stack to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve existing solutions. Work in an agile development environment, actively participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications: Up to 2 years of experience in web development. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). Strong experience with WordPress development and WordPress plugin development. Experience in managing and integrating AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) and/or WordPress components. Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL, and RESTful APIs for back-end development. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Experience working with digital marketing teams to implement website changes aligned with marketing strategies. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams. Understanding of SEO principles, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools. Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking/analytics tools.
