- Job Description Role Title Risk Data Analyst Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to interpret data and turn into information (reports, dashboards, interactive visualizations etc) which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions. Key Responsibilities: -Managing the technical scope of the project in line with the requirements at all stage sGather information from various sources (data warehouses, database, data integration and modelling) and interpret patterns and trends .Providing data, proposals, data insights and account reviews to the stakeholder sIdentify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes .Set up and maintain automated data processes .Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing .Produce and track key performance indicators .Analyse the data sets and provide adequate information .Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content .Analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to customers business and prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools .Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualization to showcase business performance and also provide sector and competitor benchmarking .Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool .Develop predictive models and share insights with the clients as per their requirement . Lists the competencies required to perform this role effectively :Functional Competencies/ Skil lLeveraging Technology -Knowledge of current and upcoming technology (automation, tools and systems) to build efficiencies and effectiveness in own function/ Client organization- Exper tProcess Excellence - Ability to follow the standards and norms to produce consistent results, provide effective control and reduction of risk -Exper tTechnical knowledge- knowledge of various programming languages/ software (Python, Microsoft Excel, VBA, MATLAB, SQL etc) and tools on data analytics - Exper t Competency Leve lsFoundati onKnowledgeable about the competency requirements. Demonstrates (in parts) frequently with minimal support and guidanc e.Compete ntConsistently demonstrates the full range of the competency without guidance. Extends the competency to difficult and unknown situations as wel l.Expe rtApplies the competency in all situations and is serves as a guide to others as wel l.Mast erCoaches others and builds organizational capability in the competency area. Serves as a key resource for that competency and is recognised within the entire organizatio n .
