Job Description

Position: Lead Node.js Developer Location: Chennai (Hybrid Work Model) Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. As a lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications. You will also mentor junior developers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of backend solutions using Node.js and related frameworks. Architect scalable and secure server-side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement and maintain APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) to support diverse client applications. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Manage and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Maintain proper documentation and ensure code quality through regular code reviews. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, suggesting improvements and innovations. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js and related backend frameworks. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Expertise in developing APIs and integrating third-party services. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience with version control systems like Git. Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading a development team. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Preferred Skills: Experience with front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular. Exposure to microservices architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.,
