Role description Role Purpose: Responsible for daily operative goals within the IT department at unit level Key Accountabilities: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E Computer Science/IT with 2-6 years experience Preferred Experience and Qualification: Has comprehensive product and application knowledge Development of software modules conforming to the functional/ performance/ user experience requirements Provides design and specification development support Development and automation of Unit and Functional Tests to demonstrate the conformance of software with the functional/ performance/ user experience requirements Analysis and debugging of issues found during the development. Develops POCs on various tools and technologies to support business in making a decision. Skills Required skills Tinkering mindset, ability to find solutions in complex situations to satisfy business needs, ability to think on your feet. Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills Experience working with fiber optics or photonics equipment/ instruments is a plus Experience with qualification and characterization testing Familiarity with Python and/or Matlab Conversant with IT Infrastructure handling, basic troubleshooting of Hardware etc. Roles & Responsibilities Meeting with customers to understand the application and technical requirements Lead DoE for benchmarking fiber sensor solutions and conduct techno-economic analysis Lead Proof-of-Concept trials to establish feasibility of products based on the customer needs and requirements Responsible for deployment of sensor solution at customer premises as per specifications and compliance Collaborate with various stakeholders from the sales, development and customers to understand requirements and expectations Align solution development to technical requirements from customer meeting national/international standards Support marketing/sales team with application notes, white papers and presentations Support product positioning through participation and demos at exhibition/trade shows/conferences Support the sales team and solution deployment in carrying out customer field trials/demos Support RFP/RFQ/Bid response and documentation Plan the tasks and provide estimates and timelines and determine resource needs Report and escalate to management as needed Ability to travel when required,
