Job Description

Job Description: Responsibilities: Develop and maintain WordPress themes and plugins. Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites. Ensure high-performance and availability of websites by optimizing for speed and scalability. Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including performance, security, and functionality. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and WordPress. Work with the backend development team to integrate server-side logic with front-end elements. Perform regular site maintenance and updates, ensuring websites remain secure and up-to-date. Customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet client requirements. Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment. Requirements: Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on WordPress. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with responsive design and development. Familiarity with PHP and MySQL. Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools. Experience with version control systems like Git. Ability to convert PSD/Figma/Sketch designs into fully functional WordPress themes. Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services. Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices. Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
