Role: Analytics and Database Engineer Location: Madipakkam, Chennai Employment Type: Full-time Experience : 4+ Years Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Analytics and Database Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, designing efficient database systems, and developing robust solutions to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and process large datasets using Python and its libraries, such as Pandas and NumPy. Design, develop, and optimize relational databases in PostgreSQL and MySQL. Write efficient queries, stored procedures, and functions to support analytics and reporting needs. Develop ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading between various systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database systems. Identify performance bottlenecks and implement database tuning techniques. Qualifications: Proven experience with Python programming and its data analysis libraries (Pandas, NumPy). Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL, including database design, optimization, and maintenance. Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts. Experience building and managing ETL processes. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Nice to Have: Experience with other databases like MongoDB, Snowflake, or BigQuery. Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight. Knowledge of cloud database solutions (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.).
