Job Description
- Position - SDE Java Backend Engineer Location - Gurgaon & Pune (Hybrid) Notice Period - Immediate to 15 days Experience Required - 3+ years Note- Candidates from Tier 1 Colleges/Companies and Product based companies are only encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development & Microservices Architecture: Manage Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Java to support scalable, high-performance applications. Implement and optimize microservices to enhance system modularity and enable efficient scaling. Data Design and Optimization: Design and manage databases (relational and/or NoSQL) for efficient data storage and retrieval. Optimize database queries, indexes, and structures to improve application performance and reliability. Code Quality: Ensure high code quality by following best practices, conducting code reviews, and enforcing coding standards. Implement automated testing strategies and contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup to ensure robust, bug-free code. System Performance and Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive optimizations to improve application responsiveness and throughput. Collaborate with DevOps to implement monitoring and logging solutions for effective issue diagnosis and resolution. Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers, data scientists, and DevOps, to deliver cohesive and efficient solutions. Document design patterns, system architecture, processes, and best practices to ensure team alignment and knowledge transfer. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java and microservices architecture. Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deploying distributed applications. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, RPC frameworks, and backend service protocols. Strong knowledge of security best practices and a proactive approach to secure code development. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools (Docker), and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
