Job Title: Remote Software Tester

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team. As a Remote Software Tester, you'll be responsible for testing software applications to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement. This is a full-time, remote position that offers flexibility and autonomy.

Responsibilities:

- Test software applications to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and design
- Identify, isolate, and report defects and bugs
- Participate in bug triage and prioritization
- Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in software testing
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)
