Apprentice in KY3P Client Services Team
Grade Level (for internal use): 05
About the Apprentice Role:
S&P global is looking to hire fresh graduates/postgraduates for Apprenticeship for a duration of 12 months. This Program will enable the candidates to learn on the job from S&P Globals experts which in turn will equip the candidates to become more skilled in todays job market.
The Role: Apprentice Credit & Risk Solutions KY3P (Know Your Third Party) Client Services
The Team: S&P Globals KY3P offers a comprehensive industry standard for third-party risk management. Third party solutions and vendor relationships are under increasing scrutiny from regulators, the media, and consumers. Fraudsters and other criminal elements target companies' 3rd and 4th parties as the best and easiest route to attack and exploit. As firms increase reliance on third party vendors to deliver business-critical processes and services, oversight complexity also increases. We work with our global community of end users to realize best in class third party risk management programs. Our vendor risk management solutions and services designed by the industry drive efficiency, streamline due diligence, and deliver transparency across their organizations.
Responsibilities & Impact:
- Support the KY3P Leadership Team in the development, delivery and monitoring of third-party risk management solutions.
- Ensure customers receive first class service consistent with S&P Global s expectations including but not limited to identifying and resolving client issues, following up with clients based on SLAs, conducting client demos, training clients on the platform, and managing additional client inquiries/needs as required.
- Cultivate, foster, and manage relationships with assigned clients.
- Actively speak with customers to ensure they understand how to use the functionality of Credit & Risk Solutions product suite and understand the full capability of our products industry initiatives.
- Work with business partners to validate the integrity of data and documents loaded on the platform.
- Become familiar with regulatory initiatives and industry-wide events that have an impact on our different business lines.
Day to Day may look like as follows (not restricted to):
- Support Clients in their daily queries by using standard procedures and CRM tools. Solutioning may also require triaging with Product, Tech and other stakeholders to derive solutions and communicate effectively with clients.
- Provide front line daily support for all clients including capture of bugs and enhancements.
- Conduct Vendor Outreach activity This requires team to ensure Due Diligence Questionnaire are sent out to vendors as per clients request. They are monitored and escalated for proper closure.
- Ensure third party entities are mapped accurately on KY3P Platform as per clients preference.
- Conduct platform walkthroughs, trainings, and demos to clients on current features, new updates, and as and when needed to resolve navigation related queries.
What Were Looking For:
- Highly motivated self-starter with good analytical skills, initiative and an ability to work independently.
- Work experience or studies related to the banking industry is highly desirable.
- Experience, knowledge or interest in third-party risk management would be advantageous, including a baseline understanding of key themes, regulatory drivers and trends.
- Excellent organization skills, structured approach to planning, note taking and summarizing information.
- Strong MS Office skills as there will be a large reliance on processing and presenting information on Excel and Powerpoint.
- Appetite to learn from a wide variety of third-party risk management experts, which would also entail the flexibility to work across time zones globally.
- Ability to condense high volumes of data into digestible formats in an articulate way.
Basic Qualifications:
- Recent graduates B.com/ BBA (Finance only)
- Knowledge of banking industry, departments and key personas.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Willing to work in Hybrid work environment. Open to all shifts APAC, EMEA and US time zones
- Well versed with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
- Ability to interact at many levels and to face and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner.
- Good analytical and logical reasoning skills with Positive attitude towards work
- Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness.
- Prior work experience in the field of third-party risk management is an added advantage.
