Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The role involves accounting, book closure, Management Reporting for a specialty hospital chain across multiple units. The position is based at the corporate office, Bangalore.

Work areas Accounting & Book Closure, MIS Reporting, Reconciliations, Variance analysis, Accounts Payable, Cost and utilization metrics, periodic KPI measurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable- Review booking of purchase invoices/GRN in ERP, analysing vendor outstanding, ensuring proper booking of TDS, Credit Note, discount and other entries in AP. Providing vendor ageing and ensuring vendors are paid on time.
  • Accounts Receivable- Review booking of sales invoices in ERP Ensuring that AR team makes entry of collection from Insurance/ TPAs, TDS Receivable, disallowances, MoU Discount etc. Provide AR Ageing report to FC.
  • Cash & Bank- Ensure posting of entries for collection (Cash, Card, NEFT, Cheque etc), cash deposit, refund and transfer of money from collection account to current account. Ensuring BRS and Cash Card Collection Reconciliation is prepared for all the bank accounts. Update different reports and issues to FC.
  • Treasury & Fund Management- Check fund position with Treasury team, Prioritize and schedule the releasing of payments for Statutory dues, Opex and Capex for different units.
  • General Ledger & Book Closure- Coordinate with Unit finance team for JV entries in ERP and closure of entries every month. Ensure prepaid amortisation and provision of expenses are booked and Trial Balance is updated.
  • Preparation of standalone and consolidated financial of the group companies- Monthly/Quarterly.
  • Assist in preparation of operational MIS reports.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, provide them financial and schedules as required for completion of Internal and statutory audit of the company.
  • Discuss the existing processes across different areas in finance and accounts with FC and suggest improvement or new process, if required. Ensure implementation of agreed policies, SoPs and follow Internal control matrix Internal Control across organisation. Periodically visiting units to ensure the implementation.
  • Discuss with IT Team/ ERP partner for IT enabled efficiency improvement area.

Qualification: CA/Chartered Accountant

Experience: 4-9 Years Healthcare Industry
