Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Spark, Scala, and Java.
• Work with Oracle databases to ensure seamless integration and data handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionalities.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives (CI/CD).
• Support deployment and production environment troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality code.

Must-Have Skills:

• Spark: Experience with building and optimizing Spark applications.
• Scala: Strong programming expertise.
• Java: Proficiency in Java, including relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Oracle: Strong experience with Oracle databases and query optimization.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and deliverables.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Unix: Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments.
• CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Python: Experience in scripting and automation tasks.
• Snowflake: Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses.
• AWS Basic Services: Understanding of Amazon Web Services, including S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality, production-ready code with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
