Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled RPA Developer and API Integration Specialist to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that streamline business processes. This role requires expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, along with strong proficiency in API development and integration. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to automate workflows, integrate systems, and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
RPA Development & Automation
Design, develop, and deploy RPA bots using tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Develop and maintain RPA workflows, scripts, and automation logic to improve efficiency.
Ensure error handling, exception management, and logging in automation scripts.
Optimize bot performance by troubleshooting and refining automation workflows.
API Development & System Integration
Design and implement API-based integrations between RPA bots and enterprise applications (e.g., ERPs, CRMs, cloud platforms).
Develop and consume RESTful & SOAP APIs for seamless system connectivity.
Work with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication mechanisms to ensure secure API access.
Enhance system interoperability by integrating third-party services, databases, and microservices.
Collaborate with backend engineers to create custom APIs where needed.
Workflow Optimization & Data Processing
Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Develop scripts to interact with databases (SQL, NoSQL), Excel, and web scraping tools.
Ensure high availability and reliability of automation solutions.
Testing, Deployment & Maintenance
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning for automation scripts and integrations.
Maintain proper documentation, including process maps, API specifications, and automation logs.
Deploy RPA solutions in production environments while ensuring minimal disruptions.
Monitor bot performance and proactively address issues.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work with business analysts to gather and refine automation requirements.
Provide technical training and support to end-users for RPA solutions.
Keep up with emerging trends in RPA, AI-driven automation, and API technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with RPA platforms (Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism).
Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, C# or JavaScript for automation scripting.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML and web services.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases for automation workflows.
Experience with Power Automate, Selenium or AI-driven automation is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in computer science, IT or a related field.
Certifications in UiPath, Automation Anywhere or API Development are a plus.
Experience in cloud-based RPA solutions (Azure Logic Apps, AWS Lambda, etc.).
