Required Skills, Qualification, Job Role & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods
- Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure
- Build customer-facing UI and back-end services for payment processing administration and management
- Code, teste and operate node.js based services
- Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem
- Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Work as part of an agile team on leading edge technologies
Skills & Experience:
- 5 years experience developing web application software
- 3 years of professional experience writing modern JavaScriptKnowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it (such as Express, StrongLoop, etc depending on your technology stack)
- Experience in building large scale applications or products in Node Js, MySql or NoSQL Database
- Knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Programming, Javascript, Type script and Nodejs framework (Express/loopback).
- Sound Understanding of building Enterprise Restful web services and micro services architectures.
- Good experience with NoSQL databases (Redis/MongoDB/Cassandra etc.)
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience of front-end development with React is a plus
- Tackle daily challenges with your creative problem-solving recommendations
Qualifications:
- B-Tec in Computer Science or equivalent study and work experience
- Good communicator and team player with strong organisation skills
- Good written and verbal English
- Proven ability to understand complex business requirements
- Ability to be proactive, finding solutions to problems and meeting deadlines. Good time management.
- A passion for technology and developing best of breed products
- Willingness to share and explore with the team to keep ideas and information flowing for ever improving product development
- Comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities / requirements while still writing quality code.
