Enphase's Ensemble system combines solar micro-inverters, energy storage, smart controls and software to provide reliable and affordable clean energies, as well as creating economic values, to home-owners. Energy storage is the key component of the Ensemble eco-system, and Enphase is aggressively expanding its energy storage product offerings in different geographies. In line with this effort, the Storage Product Line Management team is actively searching for a top talent who has knowledge of energy storage systems and related products to be part of this process. The Associate Product Line Manager, Energy Storage, will take total ownership of assigned tasks in the energy storage product lines. Reporting to a senior member of the Storage Product Line Management team, typical responsibilities include, but not limited to. working together with sales, marketing, operations, engineering, technology, field service and other teams in different geographies in defining, developing, introduction, sustaining and retiring assigned energy storage product lines. Roles and Responsibilities Market requirements: surveying customers, suppliers, partners, codes & standards, test institutions, research organizations, policy agencies and competitor activities to understand market, product and technology trends, use cases, customer preferences and implications on product requirements Product definition: participate in creating and updating market requirement documents for energy storage products with sales, marketing, engineering and other organizations Product development: participate in prototype design and evaluations, track product development and certifications, application studies and cost reduction efforts Product introduction: participate in product documentation, marketing collaterals, sales pitch materials, legal documentation creating; design field test projects, collect test data, find solutions with engineering and other teams Product sustaining: identify improvement opportunities, work with hardware and software engineering, field application and sales teams finding solutions and executing improvement programs Product retiring: work with sales, marketing, engineer, legal teams executing product retiring programs Fulfill other scheduled or unscheduled tasks as assigned What You Need An engineering (electrical, mechanical, materials) or science (computer, physics) MSc degree, or a MBa degree with a BSc degree in engineering or science from a well-regarded institution > 2 years of Product Management or engineering experience in the battery, energy storage systems, power electronics or electrical systems business, or related fields Interests and knowledge of energy storage systems architecture, energy storage systems codes and standards in some of the US, Europe, Australia geographies Proficient with collaborative tools like Jira, Confluence, Arena, Jama, etc. Strong sense of ownership and urgency on assigned tasks Strong work ethics, team player, communicator, business acumen and analytical skills Things that Make a Difference Product development or product management experience of residential energy storage systems in the US, Europe and Australia Knowledge of building codes Knowledge of residential energy storage systems market landscape in the US, Europe and Australia,
