Job Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase Executive with a background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring the timely availability of materials, and maintaining cost-effective inventory levels while adhering to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Procurement Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and forecast requirements to prevent shortages or excess stock. Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to manage inventory effectively. Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new supplier partnerships. Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements to ensure high-quality supplies. Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials comply with regulatory and quality standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to manage supplier audits and quality checks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities. Cost Management: Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality. Prepare and analyze procurement reports to track spending and identify areas for improvement. Coordination and Communication: Work closely with the production, quality control, and finance teams to align procurement activities with company objectives. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their material requirements. Provide regular updates on procurement status and any potential issues.,
