- Job Details Profile -Lab Incharge Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testing engineers and technicians. Allocate resources efficiently and ensure the team adheres to testing schedules and standards. Testing Strategy: Develop and implement testing strategies, procedures, and protocols to ensure transformers meet industry standards and customer requirements. Quality Control: Ensure all CT & PT undergo rigorous testing for performance, durability, and safety. Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during testing. Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and operation of testing equipment and facilities. Ensure all testing equipment is up-to-date and functioning correctly. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all testing processes comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., IS, IEC, NABL) and regulatory requirements. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all testing activities and results. Generate detailed reports and provide insights on CTs & PTs performance and reliability. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with design, production, and quality assurance teams to address issues and improve transformer designs based on testing feedback. Communicate test results and performance metrics to management and other stakeholders. Safety: Promote a culture of safety within the testing team. Ensure all testing activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment. Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelors or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Extensive experience in transformer/CT,PT testing, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Technical Skills:Proficiency in using transformer/CT, PT testing equipment and software. Strong understanding of electrical principles and transformer operation. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to generate clear and concise reports and present findings to stakeholders.
