Job Description
- Contracts Manager (Fire & Electrical) 1 #
- BE (Mech.) from a well-known University.
- Candidates with MBA would be preferred
- 18+ years of experience in reputed Contracting Companies engaged in Fire & Electrical System business for various applications such as Building /Industries etc.
- Lead all the division activities.
- Establish and recommend the most realistic sales goal
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team Business unit planning, staffing and management
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Evaluate development opportunities and viability of in-house general contracting
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while beingfully aware of new products and competition status
- Create an in-house vs. third party evaluation model
- Develop a Performance Standard model and policies for department and employees
- Design, implement and manage best practice construction process models
- General Contractor management
- Design and implement a pre-construction systems analysis process to determine the best construction value options
- Feasibility and site construction due diligence
- Training of business unit staff and monitoring their development
- Perform semi-annual performance evaluations of business unit staff as required
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Prepare, implement and manage the master project schedule
- Support in the creation of and manage project budgets
- Maintain and control accountability for project budget
- Control project scope and manage change orders
- Coordinate with Architect the process for obtaining necessary permits
- Supervise superintendents and monitor field construction (including quality control and safety program).
- Supervise and be responsible for all work delegated to Assistant Project Managers and Coordinators
- Plan, direct coordinate, and monitor all development activities, requirements, and people to ensure a quality, profitable, and timely completion of assigned projects.
- Hire and Manage all facets of the development process including multi-disciplined teams of internal and external team members
- Report the Divisions performance to Operations Manager
- Monitor and Report job status to Operations Manager
- Ability to lead the divisions by establishing high performance standards in-line with company goals
- Market & Product knowledge
- Solid analytical skills in identifying client needs and aligning them to product offerings
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Emser clients, customers (internal and external.
- Thrive in a competitive and dynamic sales environment
- Exceptional communications skills, both verbal and written
- Strong persuasion skills and the ability to influence others
