- Department: Finance & Accounts Role Category: Chartered Accountant-logistics Finance Job Location: Kanpur Work Experience: 5 10 years CTC: Negotiable as per experience Industry: Manufacturing, FMCG Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting Budgeting & Costing Cost Management Performance management Planning, budgeting, forecasting 1. Drive financial planning & analysis in the Logistics finance function including performance analysis, business support, forecasting and planning and reporting 2. Responsible for monthly financial performance, quarterly rolling forecasts, annual operating plans within agreed timeframes and fully compliant with accounting standards 3. Provide financial modelling of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning 4. Drive rolling forecasts models, building of scenario analysis on the rolling forecasts, variance analysis and explanations and determining accurate assumptions for forecasting Communicate key risk and opportunities matrix on the financial forecasts. Performance management and reporting 1. Work with business to define key performance indicators used to measure overall operational and financial performance 2. Analyse business performance - monitoring and analysis of business, route wise/ vehicle wise profitability on a monthly basis including the other administrative cost and make recommendations for areas of potential net cost savings along with financial cost benefit analysis along with summary of key non-financial factors. Cost management 1. Monitor costs for each of the logistics functions and business units. 2. Understand the cost drivers and follow strict cost tracking mechanism and controls. Others 1. Continuously review processes and systems in light of the business requirements and identify changes that are necessary to control the risks and/or improve efficiency and effectiveness for claim processing of the logistics division. 2. Close coordination with Operation team to analyse the areas of improvement, process alignments and cost saving opportunities and better management of fleet and to enhance overall utilization/ optimal utilization of the fleet. 3. In this profile, 60% time would go to operations to enhance the user experience and cost control and remaining time will go for financial management. 4.
