- ABOUT THE COMPANY: Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB/ BLR Airport), named after founder of the City Hiriya Kempegowda has the unique distinction of being the first Greenfield Airport in India, established on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. This heralded a revolution in Indian aviation, as more airports in the Country were privatised, thereafter. BIAL is a business of businesses and has multiple sub brands that have their own brand identities and KPIs aligned with the overall organization goals to drive revenue. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Head of ICT Solutions Engagement (SE) is responsible to work closely with airport business stakeholders on identifying, developing, and deploying ICT solutions to meet their requirements. Manages the entire solution engagement / ICT Demand management process which includes periodical connect with business operations team, business requirement gathering, solution identification, RFP preparation, ARB documentation, vendor evaluation process, vendor onboarding, project management, successful delivery of project, and adoption of technology. Responsible for ensuring alignment between ICT team, Business operations team, and implementation partner. Ensure the ICT solutions adhere to industry standards, data privacy regulations, and regulatory guidelines. Provide leadership to ICT SE Team. Work closely with other ICT teams. Define and execute the ICT SE roadmap to align with business goals Connect with Business teams to gather the business requirements, review and identify the appropriate solution. Understand the operational, functional, and technical needs in detail for the proposed ICT requirement and document. Preparation of RFP to appoint solution implementation partner and collaborate with Procurement team to publish the RFP and received the proposals. Define clear and measurable technical evaluation criteria and scoring metrics for assessing RFP responses. Take the identified solutions for Architecture Review Board (ARB) evaluation. Create the project plan and oversee the execution of projects, from kick off to completion, make sure the timely delivery. Identify and mitigate potential risks in project execution, including budgetary constraints, resource allocation, and technical challenges. Manage and Guide the ICT partner team to develop the solution strategy and system architecture. Evaluate vendor performance to ensure high-quality service delivery. Regularly connect with business operations team to ensure technology initiatives meets business objectives. Enhancement of existing ICT solution. Create the periodic reports for management and present the status in the Monthly and quarterly review meetings. Ensure adherence of BIAL process compliances. Budget planning and manage the utilization of budget (CAPEX, & OPEX) on time. QUALIFICATIONS: BE/B.Tech, B.S / M.S (Computer Science). REQUIRED SKILLS: 15 - 20 Years of experience, out of which at least 5 years at Senior IT leadership roles. In-depth knowledge of Software development and technologies. In-depth knowledge of airport ICT systems (e.g., Passenger processing systems, Airport operation systems (AOS) Etc). Proficiency in IT solutioning & implementation. Proficiency in managing large scale IT solutions/systems. PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience in ERPs, RPA, Web development, HR Bolt-on solutions, financial systems, workflow BPM, DW and Analytics, AI/computer vision. Strong strategic planning abilities with a focus on delivering innovative and ICT solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex airport IT challenges. Strong project management and vendor management skill. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Expert in IT solutioning and Project management.,
