Responsibility :
Our team is responsible for creating and delivering a cloud service that can back up all of the databases on Oracle Cloud and on-premises databases as well. Providing our customers restore and recovery of those databases they depend on. This exciting new cloud operations team gets to work across a wide range of technologies to deliver this new service. Ensuring all the components of the Recovery Cloud Service work seamlessly together. Constantly pushing to define and develop the end to end automation of complex work-flows found in day to day management of the Recovery Service. Team will keep you learning and, on your toes, delivering a mission critical service encompassing Dev Ops, Cl/CD Pipeline delivery, Backup, Recovery, Database / Systems Administration, Systems Networking, Automation. Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Technical expertise with one or more area: OCI, Linux, Exadata, Oracle Database, RMAN
Prior SRE experience
Prior experience in releasing and maintaining cloud services.
Management experience managing SRE Engineers and Developers
Production experience managing Cloud Services
Working knowledge of Virtualization, and Containers
Experience with a general-purpose systems language such as: Python, Perl, Unix Shell and/or database language SQL, PL/SQL
Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
