Job Description
- About the Company - BIAL is a business of businesses and has multiple sub brands that have their own brand identities and KPIs aligned with the overall organization goals to drive revenue. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT System specialist with upto 15 years of experience to oversee and manage our ICT Infrastructure (Systems Unix/Linux, Backup and Storage) and manage partners and vendors who provide systems services and support to the ICT team and BIAL. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent verbal and presentation skills and a deep understanding of various IT systems like Linux, Unix, Backup, Storage and database. The candidate should have a good understanding of SLAs and be knowledgeable in various IT areas including databases, middleware, applications, networks, IT infrastructure, and IT security. Responsibilities - Ensure patching, Upgrade of servers/virtual systems as per process. Ensure coordination with various vendor/partner. Provide technical direction to vendors and partners for streamline of operations, measure and monitor the progress. Monitor Review and approve SLA/D&O and ensure services are delivered as per the agreement. Identify area of improvement and work with required team to formalize the same. Develop relationship with vendors to help BIAL. Participate in the development of the IT strategy. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ICT Operations. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Ensure compliance with ITIL and other relevant frameworks. Prepare and present regular reports on various metrics and performance. Systematically track and close issues/actions and key deliverable. Maintain accurate documentation of application processes and procedures. Participate in product/vendor evaluation process for any RFP/RFQ. Work with ARB and provide design recommendations. Write RFP for operational requirement work with stakeholders for approval/vendor selection/implementation of projects. Work with business teams/vendors on various POC. Qualifications - BE / B. Tech / Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience: 10+ Years in Information Technology or related domain. Knowledge of International standards and regulatory requirements related to ICT Systems. Very good Understanding of Linux/Unix. Very good Understanding of backup technologies. Very good Understanding of Storage technologies. Conceptual and analytical thinking. Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. Good Experience with ITIL or other relevant frameworks. *Please note that this is a 5 days work from office role.,
