Role Description
- To understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights
- Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders needs
- Technical knowledge in Oracle, Synapse (Junior to Mid level),SNOW,JIRA
- To design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis
- Establish row-level data security while comprehending Power BIs application security layer models.
- Create charts and data documentation comprising a description of parameters, techniques, relationships, and models
- Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes
- Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis
- Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports
- Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents, escalating to L3 support when necessary.
- Develop data solutions, like data pipelines, data warehousing, and big data solutions, with Azure Synapse Analytics
- knowledge in Azure Synapse (Dedicated SQL Pool, ADLS Gen2 Data Flows, Data Pipelines, Serverless SQL Pool)
Skills Needed

- Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
- Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction
- Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehouse concepts
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and advanced SQL queries.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Service Now
- Strong knowledge in Azure Synapse
