Job Description
Must have
- Testing skills, Linux, Network with VMware
Requirements
- A Candidate should have atleast 8+ years of relevant experiences
- Candidate should be a quick learner and must be a go-getter and problem solver
- Able to work standalone on the project
- Hands on experience in Installing Linux images from scratch ( from iso, vanilla installs)
- Should be able to effectively communicate with the stakeholder and get the requirements
- Should be able to own the end to end project delivery
- Should be excellent in stakeholder Management
- Should be able to handle a team of Developers
Preferences:
- Must haveTesting skills, Linux, Network with VMware
Responsibilities
- Installing Linux images from scratch ( from iso, vanilla installs)
- Working with storage, filesystems, mounts
- Networking: list ips, change network preferences, add NICs, etc Anyone coming from the storage products area should have such experience, or similar products Vmware
- Create VMs, edit VM properties, deploy from OVA/OVF images Working with Vcenter, ESXs , preferable t o be able to deploy VC and ESX from scratch Vmware is not mandatory, but a preferred experience
- Linux expertise is must, as most of our work in backend testing, servers, enterprise customers, which most of their workloads are Linux servers
- Also a must is backend side testing experience, not only frontend and UI
